WOVEN BY HAND IN LA GUAJIRA
One thread.
A thousand stories.
Distinctive Wayuu mochila bags, selected for their refined single-thread weave and remarkable artisan detail.

THE COLLECTION
Made slowly. Carried everywhere.
Each mochila is woven by hand. Made-to-order bags ship in four to six weeks.

THE MEANING IN OUR NAME
What is a hebra?
Hebra is the Spanish word for a single thread or strand.
On its own, a thread is delicate. Guided by patient hands and joined with thousands of others, it becomes something expressive, useful, and enduring. That transformation is the heart of every Wayuu mochila—and the idea behind Una Hebra.
We chose the name to honor the beginning of every bag: one thread, one artisan, and one story taking shape.

Hands, color, and everyday life.
A glimpse of the places, process, and people that keep this living tradition moving forward.

A LIVING TRADITION
Woven one thread at a time.
Single-thread weaving creates a tighter, smoother surface and takes considerably longer than common two-thread work. Every variation is evidence of the hands that made it.
